My husband received an offer from these jokers in the mail offering a $10K "Platinum Card".  It never mentioned what type of card (credit, gift, etc), and there is no bank associated with it.  In fact, on the top of the letter it says "Bank Affiliation:  None."  I noticed it was odd that they spelled his name wrong, and the "Pre-Approval #" was separated by commas.  Who does this?  And they want $37 right off the bat?  Yeah, right!

So I go to the web address, and my Firefox immediately brings me to a page that says this website cannot be trusted and has no security certificate, and is not to be trusted.  So I went and Googled "union workers credit services" and the first article that popped up was from Rip Off Report, so I thought I'd share.

NEVER input your personal information into/onto anything you haven't checked into thoroughly.  For all of you who did, and sent your $37 off, I'd close your accounts, and file an identity theft report, annd get a new social security number.  Seriously--yes--you can do that.  Good luck and beware!
