Complaint Review: Unique Automotive Designs - Uadsales

Ah, I was one of the lucky ones because when I ordered my custom airbrushed parts for $770.00 in July 2008 from the new owners of this company, I actually got them in late August. They were beautiful and came with a 2 year warranty against paint defects only.  I have done business with the company previously without ever a problem and didn't expect that to change under new ownership. I did have difficulty getting the parts shipped...lots of stories how they were shipped but the post office returned them for additional postage, after they said they had been shipped twice before...but did eventually receive them later than promised.

While at a car show in late Summer 2009, someone noticed a crack in the fuel rail cover and then over the next 2 weeks more cracks in the other fuel rail cover started. We removed them, emailed Michelle at Unique who said not a problem, they would of course take a look and repair them under warranty and they confirmed, it was the paint that cracked.

I sent them back in October 2009 and I advised I was not in a hurry as the car would be stored for Winter, just get them to me in March. It was agreed. In February I check in with Michelle on Facebook and she advised the parts will be ready to ship in March. Since them I have sent at least 8 emails via Facebook and regular to them and no responses. I even faked that I wanted to order the rest of the parts in hopes that that would like a fire under them...nothing!

I am out only $395.00, less than the other two here but I want my money back! I am now afraid that if they in fact did ship my parts that they still may be defective paint. Please file with the complaint with Attorney General in GA, they need more of us to file so they can take action
