unique van lines superior deception and incompetence Miami, Florida
They promised me my moving date 30 days before I moved. Then, the day before I was to move they called to tell me they wanted to move me the following day. This is after I had made all my hotel accommodations and driving plans.
I personally made sequentially-numbered labels for all my things so I could validate complete delivery. The shipment was promised within 14 days. I received a call on the 14th day that it was in-transit with no absolute delivery date. It showed up 23 days after I vacated my residence.
Upon (late!) delivery, the moving staff tried to give me things that WERE NOT MINE. I rejected a bookcase, an expensive tool, and a chair that were owned by someone else. I was missing an expensive vacuum cleaner and a box with with costly items. Another item was completely destroyed. Total loss was greater than $500.
You CANNOT trust the moving staff to be consciencious and honest. They just want to unload the truck -- they don't care who owns the stuff they unload. GOOD LUCK if you ignore this warning. It will cost you much more than you planned!
