Unique Worldwide Services - Sex, lies, and money Birmingham Alabama
I am writing about Unique because I was an out of state person just moving to Alabama and I needed a job. I saw the ad and went in for an interview. I was immediately hired because there is a quota of people to hire per day. I was taught the same things to say and do to the people that would come into my interviews.
We had script printed out word for word, there was nothing personal or individualized about it. The manager doing the hiring gets a certain amount of money regardless if the hiree stays with the company or not. I was impressed with the product and I thought I could handle managing sales people, so I gave it a shot.
Well, I was never told about the pin program until I had already sold my initial $2000 worth of products, most of which was to my loved ones because they tell you not to sell door to door, but get referrals from people you know. I knew no one in Alabama, so I was calling home trying to sell stuff. I was ignorant and gullible.
I take responsibility for my own stupidity, but I just want to warn people to be careful. My loved ones did get their products after I had called Unique several times to find out what had happened to it. While Halonaire is a good product, the other stuff they sell can be bought at Wal-Mart cheaper (and yes, they do come with a ten-year warranty as well--I checked on it.)
The thing I did not like about Unique is that it is totally about money. I don't believe they care about you as a customer or as an employee. As far as the meetings, most of them were totally unnecessary and a waste of time, valuable time. I went to one meeting that was absolutely disgusting. Mark was given a blow up doll by some of the managers to which he pretended to be having sex with in front of all of us. The night before that there was a big party for the managers and trainees, some of whom were minors.

I agree, Mr. Mark Mingolo is a nasty little midget. (or whatever he is!) I am a wife an ex-manager of UWSI. I was against this whole thing in the beginning but my husband was very gullible at the time, because he needed a job bad!
When He made manager, (dont get me started on all the money he threw away on this scam co.), Mr Mingolo was going to take me and another managers wife and our husbands out to dinner to congradulate! ....this definately was a lie! when we got to the office, he picked us up in a limo with a bunch of young kids, took us to a bar and he got totally smashed and was walking around doing stupid tricks w/ cards and blowing smoke out of his nose! then he asked for a wet t-shirt concert and was trying to dance sexually w/ the girls. They even looked grossed out!
We were so upset that when we asked to leave he said in a moment and that was @ 11:30pm, he didnt let us leave until 2:00am! We were absolutly stuck because we rode in the limo!!!!!! And some of the kids were minors!!!! He doesn't care about anything but making money off of gullible people! I feel sorry for the midget!

i agree michelle, mark is something else!! he's a so-called president representing a ripoff company. i didn't like him when i first met him. he was putting his hands on some of the young ladies there. touching their "but" and feeling all on them. and half of them there seem to love him, thinking he's hilarious. the young ladies didn't mind him touching them. but if he had put his hands on me, believe me i would have him put in jail for sexual harassment!! this company stands for the wrong thing, they are doing so many illegal things that are hurting people. i think something should be done about this company before anymore innocent people get hurt, financially and physically.
