 I enrolled my daughter in United 1st Class Sports AAU basketball team during the end of the 2014/15 school year under management of Jabari Parker. The program failed due to inadequate place for practices, coaches arriving late to practices sometimes not at all, different coaches at practices, boys and girls practicing together in a small gym. This is just to name a few reason why the program failed. DiMagio Lawson took over after many concerns of parents. He stated Jabari Parker was no longer a part of United 1st Class Sports and the name was changed to A1D1 Sports because of problems with in the company. The program never got off to a promising start. Parents were given a date of a scheduled tournament and the team uniforms had not been ordered. Managers were on the phone at the beginning of practice calling coaches to report to practice while waiting parents and children were on time for practice. Again, this is a few of the problems consuming an already failed program. I, along with all other parents requested a refund due to the many issues with the program. DiMagio stated that signing the contract would void any refunds requested . But he would support parents and talk to owners on behalf of parents due to parent's concerns. United 1st Class Sports never provided service or tournaments except 4 practices in two different locations and different times that were not promised during sign up. Ryan Marker sent text message stating he is CEO of company . He stated after talking with other members of the company, a refund will be given due to problems within the program. I have not received my refund of $400 ( I paid half on my card and half in cash) as of this date.
