United Airlines Excessive Fees for changing flights Internet, Internet
I booked a couple tickets to take my daughter to visit a college out of state. A week later I found I needed to changes the dates to the following week, still 3 weeks from the original travel dates. United wanted to charge me $180 per ticket to change flights. The original ticket price was only $253 each. I have filed a claim for a refund and am still waiting to a response. I booked these through Travelocity and they tell me it is United how charges the fees. Beware that when using any of these travel sites that everything is "Non-Refundable". Use these resources to find a deal, then contact the airline, hotel, or car agency and you may even get a better price.
