After paying all payments on time, United Auto Credit refused to release the title to the vehicle. Loan orginated Aug. 3,2006 for 24 payments. We called and the car dealer we bought the car from called United Auto. They claimed we owed 36.00 usd. We asked them how that could be and they said for the first 18 days. We asked them to show us anywhere in the contract where that was stated and they said they would provide a copy with all our payments as well. We never heard form them again. We contacted them several times and then gave up. Today is 01/11/2012 we contacted them today and now they say we still owe but it is now 86.82usd. This company is a rip-off. and I can junk the car without the title, I just think it is wrong that they are allowed to get away with this, if I paid late I would have expected a penalty, but I never did, and honesty is not one of there policies.
