My husband and thought we were getting a good deal, our credit wasn't great, but we were approved. We couldn't have been more excited. Daniel Henderson (Harrison Manager) made it seem like our United Bilt Home would be our dream home.

Well, about 6 months into the construction of a 1600 square foot home, we noticed several problems... the foundation was unlevel, which meant the house was... the house was actually smaller than it was supposed to be, Daniel was avoiding our phone calls, and our visits.

When the house was finally "completed" except for the "punch list" Daniel could not have been any more happier. Well, we had trim around windows that was so off that you could not even set a coke can on it, windows were broken, floors were squeaky, doors were put in backwards, and to our surprise the paint was peeling, and the nails were rusting.

We were paying over $100,000 for this building that we will never be able to call home, and we just wanted them to make it right. Daniel made promise after promise, and of course, those promises were never kept. If you are thinking of building a United Bilt Home, DON'T. It was the biggest mistake we ever made.

It is not just the Harrison office, it's the whole crappy company. Don the Owner will make you promises to keep you satisfied. I guess that is where Daniel learned it. I hate this building that we are stuck with, I would be much happier with a trailer, and if you are thinking of using this company... look into getting a trailer. I promise you'll be so much happier.

Very dissatisfied

United-Bilt homes is good about making promises, but terrible about keeping them.
They will tell you anything to appease you.  But will delay and then eventually deny that there was a problem.

There are a number of problems that we are trying to get resolved as well.  Two of the major problems are structural and electrical in nature.

They like to give loans to people that don't have great credit.  However, they want an arm and a leg in equity in land and cash.

The following you tube video is an example of one of many promises made by their Regional Construction Manager:

Be sure and click the Show more dropdown to compare their response to the Better Business Bureau  with what their Regional construction manager said in the video.
