I am writing this in hopes that any family interested in getting a home mortage will stumble across this article take this to heart so they do not get involved with this company so there family will not go thru the headache and in the end loose money an time like my family has. when i first contacted ken phillips about a home purchase i told him the most important issues about my credit strait forward like credit issues annual income job time etc being honest from the start I thought would save time it did anything but that two or three days later i was contacted and told i was pre approved for 150,000 mortage with no money down it was called a us rural developement loan me and my family where extremely excited
about the thought of buying a home we found a home siged a contract the sellers the went ahead and moved turned the lights off and a closing date was set after thinking about the situation i thought it was odd to get approved for a loan with no money down making 80,000 a year in income but you put your trust in the person preparing your loan so we got all the paperwork he needed sent to him in a timely manner so we could meet our closing date 6 days before our closng date ken contacts me telling me i made too much money to qualify for the no money down loan even after sending him check stubbs and telling him how much i made upfront the first time i talked to him before pre approval you would think
somebody like ken phillips who has been in the business as long as he has not too mention owning his own mortage company in california would be more professional by this time i had put 500 earnest money down and 425 for aappraisal even tho he wasted a month of my time i resigned the contract to extend the closing date came up with the money down to do a fha loan and we started another home loan i spent another 500 on a moving truck after ken told me i would close this time im suppose to close tommorow after screwing up for a second time blaming me for credit issues and the realtor i still dont know if i will close do not use united capital lending you will lose money and time not to mention our
stuff is packed up in a budget truck setting in the driveway i wont sign another contract on the home ill cut my 1500 dollar lose and unpack a 26 ft truck and move back in before i get lied to and jerked around again my question to him is if he went thru my first loan and there was no issues with credit why was it not discovered before 3 days before my second closing date in the end it screwed not only my family the sellers family and the realtor for being honest strait forward from the start as it stands i am set to close tommorow at 4 pm i was told it wasnt gonna cose for the second time funny thing is my phone has not rung once today from them i will make this clear to everyone i am not writing out of anger bc i
have been denied a loan by them thas not the issue unprofessionalism is the issue when u call ur lender and u never get a return call back there is something wrong anybody who is gonna go n debt for a 150,000 loan likes to knowwhat is going on often my advice to anybody dont use this company and if u do dont us ken phillips by he way if u pull there website up it says we will close you on time well i hae done two home mortages spent 1500 dollars and i will ed up moving back in to my current home but i cant even get a phone call to let me know whats goin on i wish everybody luck that goes thru a home mortage and i hope they will never have to go thru the hell and jump thr the loops like we have to get dun the way we have
