Complaint Review: United Car Exchange

These guys will call you based on your ad from craiglist or other free web sites; they offer you to sell your car within 90 days guaranteed. After few weeks of frustration I went ahead and said yes after looking at the website. They charge me 299$ package. They promise to put ads in multiple websites like carsoup.com and so on. And they promise me to refund the money if the car is not sold in 90 days. I kind of had a bad feeling over the weekend after checking the ad they placed in their website, they have no interest in selling your car what so ever. It is just a total scam. There are few websites they mentioned that they placed my car ad but looks like they are almost junk websites and no one will visit them. I tried to reach them and the moment you tried to reach them you would know there is something wrong, no answered calls and out of offices. The girl who spoke to me claims she never spoke to me before. She had called me multiple times and I can recognize her voice very well. I feel so dumb not reading the reviews before placing ad. I realized this in few days and filed a dispute with credit card, hopefully it will get disputed so I don’t lose money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY TIME TO SELL YOUR CAR. I wish I have done my research before, address on the website is POBOX that tells me its a face company. DONT FALL LOOKING AT THE WEBSITE, ANYONE CAN HAVE WEBSITE LIKE THIS FOR FEW 100 DOLLARS.
