United Card Services is still trying to rip people off Buffalo New York
This morning I was sitting at my desk, checking to see if there had been any updates to the Golbal Financial scam at Rip-off Report, when the phone rang.
I answered and the conversation went like this:
ME: Hello?
Amy: May I please speak with Marilyn McD...
ME: You are.
Amy: My name is Amy calling on behalf of United Card Service. I am calling reguarding the processing of the Master Card you applied for.
ME: A Master Card?
Amy: Yes. You have applied for a Master Card in the last 18 month haven't you?
ME: No.
Amy: My records show you have applied for a Mater Card and I am prossesing you approval.
ME: I haven't applied for any cards, except the scam with Global Financial. I can't apply for a regualr credit card as I am in debit consolidation.
Amy: OH. In that case I can close your file if you'd like.
ME: Yes. Please do. By the way, do you have access to the internet?
Amy: I--uh--what do you mean.
ME: Do you have personal access to the internet?
Amy: I have the internet at home.
ME: Good. When you get a chance go to Rip-off Reports.com. The company you are working for is listed there and this offer is a rip-off. People have been scammed out of money and never received anything. Also check out the information on Global financial. They ripped off hundreds and are now shut down and alot of people doing the same thing as you no longer have jobs. Have a nice day (I hung up).
Thank you Rip-off Report for giving me the info I need to shut her down.

I CAN'T BELEIVE IT ..had the nerve to call me again

After the conversation I had the other day with the telemarketer about this company, they had the nerve to call me again. I told the representative the same thing and it didn't even phase her. When I told her about the reports on this site, she acted as if she already knew.
I told her I was scammed by Golbal Financail and I had just gotten my refund from them, and she's crazy if she thinks I would fall for another scam. I also told her she should read the information about Global Financial. She told me that she knew that Global was shut down. I said, "Young lady, the company you are calling for is scamming the same thing. Your comapany is under investigation and will be shut down also. These people who have reported on Rip-off Report have not received any thing just like Global. I suggest you find yourself another job."
I also asked her about the fact that the previous rep told me she was going to close my file, and asked why I was being called again. She stated that according to my file I had never been contacted. I said, "Bull, I was called 2 days ago by someone named Amy. And if I get any more calls will use all leagal means available to me. Do you understand?" She said she will close my file.
THIS IS UNBELIVABLE!
