On the date of 7/11/03(a Fri.) a company called me claiming that I had applied for a credit card. As I had applied for several cards, I didn't think this was fradulant.

They told me it would be $300.00 to secure it and gave me a number to call so that I could have it taken any time. By the time I got off the phone I realized it was a scam. On 7/14 (Mon.)I contacted the "represenative" and the "custumer service" numbers, stating that "I wanted nothing from them, I was withdrawing authorazation to remove money from my account, Forget my name."

I also contacted my bank explaining that I thought they might try to take it anyway, and they were by no means authorized to remove ANY money from my account. I thought that was going to take care of it.

On 7/21 they withdrew the money from my account with a telephone transfer. I went to my bank and they say they can't do anything because "I authorized it".
The customer service # is only a machine, which usually says it is full. The "representitive" ("Andrew") gave me his # though. I am continually harrassing them at that #. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they let it ring and ring, and once they picked it up and hung up.

This number is most likely a house, or a small, temperary office somewhere. I finally got the name of a "boss" ("Sean McVicar"), although the girl I was speaking with didn't know his last name. I just got him on the phone and that was the last name he gave, (after I heard him say to another girl that answered, "you didn't tell them to buzz off?")

Supposably "customer service" is supposed to call me back before 5:30pm. (It is now 5:27.)I stated the time that it is, and he said they WOULD call me back today, "even if they have to stay late". Isn't that nice of them? I won't hold my breath. I also won't leave them alone untill they refund my money, or shut down. One or the other.

If you have been ripped off by this same company, bother them at this number. I am working at shutting them down with all possible means, but I need your help.
