United Cash Loans on a $700 loan these people continued to charge me a $210 EXTENTION FEE monthly from October 12 through april 30. Moreover, I was double billed each month for five months, amountin Orangeburg, South Carolina
I took out an emergency online loan with United Cash Loans on 0ctober 12, 2011. A week or so ago, I called the company to ask why they were still debiting my bank account. I had not noticed that I had been double billed each month through April 30, 2012 (5 X $420= $2050). The customer service person confirmed this but refused to refund my money without further action from me (showing bank statements to that effect).
I am currently retrieving bank statements in anticipation of legal action against the company. A couple of their double billings causes overdraft fees on my account. Fortunately, I learned that I needed to go online to manage my acount in order to pay on the principal amount otherwise that were automatically charging and debiting a $210 extension fee (no reduction in the principal) So theoretically one could pay through infinity without ever reducing the principal. Sounds like the kind of loan shark fraud to me.
Since I think this may not be an isolated case, I hope to indentify other United Cash Loan Customers willing to join me in a class action suit against these people.
