United Credit Adjusters, Did not honor my request to refuse service, and charged my account Manasquan New Jersey
A friend of mine told me how this company was so great with cleaning up credit in order to purcahse a house. So silly me I did no research trusting my friend's advice. The fast talking salesmen, Ron Coleman, expressed how the $1500 service was great and signed me up for automatic debits each month. Which I agreed via phone. He also stated that I had 48 hours to cancel w/out being charged anything.
Well 20 minutes after our conversation had ended I realized that this is totally a bad idea and that I couldn't afford $1500 even on a pyment plan. If I could I would've paid off my bills a long time ago. I called back three times but could not get Mr. Coleman on the phone. So I called accounting, who told me I needed to contact Mr. Coleman because they hadn't received my paperwork. Well I continued calling up until 6pm that evening. But approximately 9 calls and 6 voicemails I still heard nothing from him.
The very next morning, the clock is ticking, I tried calling again. Still no answer. So I called accounting again. They told me to fax a letter in, which I did and it was successful. Until a few weeks later when I received more letters about what services they've started for me but no cancellation letter. I began calling and calling and calling again to different persons in accounting, customer service and even Mr. Coleman again. Still nothing!
I try a round of phone calls again the following week and I get a lady name Andrea Milano. She claims to see no cancellation in the system. But what's funny is when I dialed her extension she just said "hello." I said "Hi may I have Andrea - ", "hello!" she requested again. I asked for her then she says, "Oh....United Credit Adjustors, sorry bout that" I'm thinking to myself that this is probably a company ran in someone's storage unit.
Let me wrap up this lengthy story; Andrea puts me with this Jeanette person who relieves me and provides a cancellation number. Jeanette also revealed that I wasn't to be charged till Friday, June 13th. So I think I'm all cancelled not knowing these unprofessional theives have already debited my checking account for $248.00.
I've yet to get anyone on the phone, receive a return phone call or anything as such. I'm royally ticked off. I've reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and have disputed the charge with my bank. It's like they forced me to pay and that's not fair. I really want a lawyer. This is so wrong. I like never want to use my card online or on the phone EVER again!!!

I have been ripped off also by this very unprofessional outfit and filed a complaint
with NJ attorney general's office which contacted me a couple of day's ago.
They are investigating this shady business since there are alot of complaints pending and it's sounds like they are going to shut them down. I myself lost $738 with these idiots and am trying to get my money back if that's possible. There's
nothing a credit repair company can do for you that you can't do yourself for free.I did it myself by disputing items on my report and had some of them deleted.
Best of luck!
