Thomas Galt, self-appointed "Bishop" of the United Evangelical Church of America, is nothing but a con man, and well-meaning Christians should know this.
There are no accounting records, there are no legal documents, there is no actual office, nothing. Just a flat broke, mooching, disability-collecting CON ARTIST, a phone line and a printer in a spare room - nothing more, nothing less. It is CON MEN like this that make it difficult for REAL ministries to reach out to others online!
It appears he has even conned a few well-meaning men into serving on his imaginary con board:

These men are either knowing, willing cohorts in perpetrating this unbelievable FRAUD, or they actually believe this CON MAN to the point of now having totally destroyed their own credibility. Every REAL ministry that has been burned by this con man and rescinded their affiliations with him will never, ever believe a word they say. That is so sad. SO, word to the wise: RUN if this man ever comes near you - your reputation is at stake.
DOCUMENTED FACT: Thomas Galt has NO degree, NO ordination, NO credentials, aside from the ones he has so generously granted HIMSELF. Yes, this man appointed himself Bishop, and abused relationships with former ministry associates to literally print out credentials in their names for himself that aren't worth the paper they are written on.
DOCUMENTED FACT: He printed out stacks of these meaningless documents and distributed them to other ministers in hopes of gaining favors. Some are even unknowingly DISPLAYING this worthless drivel on their walls in frames. They have no idea they are making fools of themselves. It's disgusting the fraud he's perpetrated in Jesus' name! If you have any piece of paper with Thomas Galt's signature on it, I suggest you get it off the wall and off your resume ubefore people find out.
DOCUMENTED FACT: He also accepted money from well-meaning Christians for requisite MINISTRY documentation from more than one of these ministries and then asked the leadership if they could 'send it for free to his special friend'. Took money for a free item... You read that right - clear-cut "Theft by deception" - A CRIME.
FACT: The UECA website is a total sham, and stands as further evidence of this FRAUD - nearly all the links across the top (basically with the exception of where to buy worthless paper, or to reach someone who can talk you into buying worthless paper) are either blank or "Under Construction" and have been for months. Now think about this: Would a REAL ministry with supposedly "millions of members worldwide" have NO news and updates... NO information on ministries and outreaches...NOT A SINGLE ENTRY on the "worldwide church calendar"? You decide.
FACT: Furthermore, there IS NO physical address for the supposed "United Evangelical Church of America" - just a post office box, which is a very big deal if you expect to actually be able to function as a Minister in most Countries, and most U.S. States. Most now require a physical office to recognize the credentials. Credentials printed out in someone's spare room are no longer recognized for the most part. There may be a few back-woods places who don't know any better yet, but they will catch on soon, and this con man will move on to the next challenge, no doubt.
FACT: The phone line listed on the UECA website is just a phone number forwarding system. You can set one up in 5 minutes yourself for $20 bucks, if you also wanted to perpetrate a fraud of this magnitude. This is, in itself, not illegal. It simply stands as further proof of my claim that this is a big scam operation headed up by expert con man Thomas Galt, using the name of Jesus Christ to sell people worthless sheets of paper.
FACT: I know for a FACT that there are several victims/witnesses who have sworn written testimonies and provided proof to the police of money stolen by Mr. Galt. I'm not talking about hundreds of dollars, either - I am talking about THOUSANDS of dollars flat out stolen from people after a pity party, outright lie or under the guise of false promises. "Theft by deception", plain and simple. It adds up quickly when you are doing it to everyone!
FACT: The UECA organization is a big lie. It is Tom Galt using Jesus' name to sell worthless paper - nothing more, nothing less. I feel sorry for any one who has become affiliated with this wolf in sheep's clothing. I - and many, many others - hope he has to pay for making such a mockery of true, genuine, faithful independent Christian organizations.
Please post below if you have also been burned by this con man, so people will know the TRUTH, and he will have to STOP his criminal deceptions in Jesus' name!

I am just flored that you would have the gall to come in and say all this Bama guy. I know exactly who you are and the truth behind you "accusations ". You were in my home. You were off courting another one of your mistresses after my wife and I coming and getting you out of what you called a bsd situation. Tv? Nope.
Paperwork will show that the alleged property was returned to Aarons from where you rented it. State law says I could have kept it because according to the states attorney of that county any and all property left over a certain length of time is considered abandoned property. But to save you from being arrested and sued.
When you let Bama guy you left owing us several hundred dollars in payment for rent and electricity. I have proof of what I say, all you have are lies and accusations. I went myself to the states attorney and spoke with their office about all this. With my proof and they giggled and, I quote, "Let him try."
All you accomplished was calling my place of employment and lying to them and taking the food out my kids mouths and the roof over their heads. Bama guy you want me to name the ladies that contacted us about your doings including the one you "married" in my front room then two days later kicked your lies and you out?

I am a consumer of UECA and have read both the accusation and rebuttal regarding UECA.
1) This entire complaint or report appears to be focused on one man and not the organization. In almost every paragraph of this complaint, Thomas Galt is named, not the organization. This would change the complaint to calling UECA a false organization, to a direct assault on Thomas Galt. This direct assault against one person and not the organization devaluates this complaint to just bantering.
2) Since this is a direct assault concerning Thomas Galt, the accusation of Thomas Galt’s credentials, “Thomas Galt has NO degree, NO ordination, NO credentials, aside from the ones he has so generously granted HIMSELF. “ How was this researched? Was it verified through the state registry? What positive proof do you have about his credentials? Are you aware that Thomas Galt has not just belong to UECA, but served as bishop on another organization where Thomas had to go through many hours of independent studies to attain a degree in Christian Theology? I know this as proof and to bear witness to this as I belonged to the same organization.
3) Each and every “FACT” as you call it claims to have proof yet offers none. Without positive proof, each accusation is nothing more than an accusation. It also is considered “Libel” in the court system and in itself a crime. If I were Thomas Galt, I would consider legal action against you for this assault against him.
4) You claim that everything was falsely done in “The Name of Jesus.” If you read the bible, you would also notice that “Bearing false witness” is also a crime against God. Since you bear no proof to your accusations to Thomas Galt, you sin against God. It is also said by Jesus, “He without sin cast the first stone.” Are you that sinless that you would be able to cast the first stone? Sin you break one of the Commandments, you are a sinful person.
5) I know Thomas Galt. I also know the UECA. Before becoming associated with both, I researched each. I know there are ordination mills on the internet and I did not, do not, want to be falsely credentialed by one of those mills.
6) I would challenge this reporter to a public debate on this issue. I would challenge this reporter online, and in plain view of the public. I challenge this reporter to debate using only proven facts and to follow a Christian theme so that no redirect or nastiness enter into the argument.

From personal experience I can tell you that Thomas Galt is a thief and a liar. He has stolen over $3000 in merchadise from me, sold it, and then lied about it. He in no way leads a Christian life, as I have spoken with numerous other people and companies who he has ripped off. He owes money to every public utility in the state of Georgia, has moved from numerous houses/apartments while still owing back rent to the landlords and consistantly has collection agencies after him. The man is a deadbeat as well as being a thief and a liar. Stay far away from this man. I am currently in the process of having him prosecuted for stealing and selling my TV, A/V system and other items he "borrowed" from my abode while I was out of town. This man is NO GOOD. He will befriend you and then take you for all you have.

The author of this report undoubtedly considers himself to be a Christian. However, upon seeing the out and out lies posted, I seriously doubt that fact. Does not the Bible say that if you have something against your brother, to go to him in private and discuss it ? And if that doesn't work, then take it before the church ? Has this person even done ANY of that ? I wonder, and I doubt. In any case, the Bible was not followed in the report, and I suspect was not even consulted.

This report was receive by the UECA from a form that was filled out and posted on the UECA web site.
Upon receiving this and reading this report my very first thought was one of concern. After committing this to some prayer, God commands us all to Love one another no matter what. I will approach this in a Christ centered manner. Everyone has the right to speak an opinion. However, it is only the opinion that is well communicated and truthful that truly will be received. The bible clearly talks about the fool and the foolish.
This report and comment by this writer clearly has indications of a hidden agenda. Without dwelling on this I will just commit this to God for He is in control. I would like to focus on what the writer/reporter is labeling "Documented Fact".
Point 1:
This statement specifically targets and singles out a particular person. The underling spear here is who appointed a person. The UECA is a fully incorporated entity, that is governed by a board of directors that meet quarterly. Our By-laws and Organization Charter is fully filed with the State of Georgia. Our leadership was appointed by vote and in strict adherence with Roberts Rules of Order. The Title the UECA gives to a specific role is solely governed by the UECA by-laws and the board of Directors. In challenging a persons educational background is an internal matter for the UECA and not for public scrutiny. The UECA takes great care in doing reasonable due diligence when it is verifying transcripts.
Point 2:
This point is truly the spewing of pointless and misinformed information. A a religious entity that is not only recognized by the State, but by the IRS and Federal Government. Who we choose to license as an independent minister is legally bound and cannot be challenged between church and State. The UECA is a legal Church that meets all the mandates as a governing body both by State Law and Federal Law. As a fully incorporated entity by the State and with a IRS EIN number we mandated to follow the guidelines set forth. As far as who we authorize credentials to falls directly under the authority of the UECA and the subcommittee assigned to review the applications.
In the indirect accusations of the UECA being a "degree or credential mill", this is clearly a misguided statement. Being that we are a recognized 501(c)(3) corporation and a church there are specific items that are a matter of public record. So in keeping some work product confidentially I will state this..... In the last 12 months the UECA has only authorized six (6) licenses for credentials. It has declined for various reasons over twenty (20). This in the nut shell clearly proves that the UECA and the selection committee for ministerial candidate is doing the proper due diligence according to the UECA policies and Procedures that was set by the board.
Point 3:
This point is clearly and simple false. All funds that are given to the UECA are handled by a person appointed by the board. The UECA bank account is in direct control by our finance person and not Dr. Tom Galt. Furthermore, Dr. Galt has no access to the UECA bank account, PayPal Account or any other account that has. It is clear that the person making this statement is flat out misinformed.
Point 4:
Yet another statement that is pure noise. Our website is professionally hosted and is maintained by the UECA. If there are pages on the site that indicate "under construction" these pages were placed open to public view in error. Our web site is very dynamic and we have may built out pages that we plan on expanding to. I have no idea where this person has the notion that the UECA has "millions of members" ... I wish the UECA ministry had that! Currently our ministry has about 130 in its roll call. Once again, the writer of this report seems to love to embellish the truth to personify the personal agenda. As far as information is ministries and outreaches, this information is still being built out in the website and should be completed relatively soon.
Point 5:
In this point, the writer is purely splitting hairs. The UECA has chosen to keep our postal mailing address a US Post Office Box simply for convenience. The UECA chooses to keep its offices as home offices and not a corporate building. This has nothing to do with the validity of the UECA. It has everything to do with being good stewards of our funds and not spending money on needless real estate. UECA leadership do work from home offices and the UECA postal mail box is checked daily. So it comes down to a question does the UECA has a physical church? Well, the answer is yes!
The UECA home church is in Peoria, IL. The Church name is "Higher Dimensions Praise and Worship Church". The Address is 2610 West Nebraska Av. 61604. HDPWC is the Home Church of the UECA and the Pastor is Bishop R.W. Randle. As of today, the congregation is growing and has about 150 in its roll call.
It is obvious that who every is the writer of this report is once again misinformed and is truly spewing words without knowledge.
Point 5:
The writer if this report is really in a desperate mode her and is picking on our phone numbers. The UECA has a Toll Free Service that we pay $30.00 a month for. This allows anyone who calls the UECA or its leadership to have access without being charged for the Long Distance call. Every corporation that I know of has a Toll Free number... It's like a cell phone. This number is set up with extensions in an auto attendant manner. These are programmed to forward the call to the local home office of the person you are looking to reach. I do not see how this convenience has any merit on the accusation posted. Yet another totally pointless misinformed statement.
Point 6:
Written Statements, Sworn Testimonies .... this is again no merit. Groundless accusations with no foundations. Nothing and I mean Nothing has ever been submitted or brought to the Attention of the UECA leadership either legal or private of this of any type. This itself is a very serious accusation and I would stress that if the writer of this report has proof of this then they need to stop hiding behind the computer and internet and call me directly. I personally will make sure this will be dealt with both legal and swift.
Point 7 & Final Point.
Here the Writer of this report seems to want to grind the ax once again and make it personal. This clearly solidifies my statement that whoever wrote this has a personal ax to grind.

When someone makes accusations against a person or an organization, claiming to have proof, this proof should be shown. Do you actually have the proof that you claim ? If so, it would be nice to post it, as otherwise it is nothing more than the false ranting of a liar against an innocent person. In other words, LIBEL. I'm not saying that you are lying, just that I would like to see the proof myself before believing your post. There are so very many people who post rants on this site, but when asked to prove it, they either disappear or blow smoke. If you do have the proof, show it. Otherwise, disappear like so many others.
