Complaint Review: United Express Van Lines

this company is trying to get more money from us, they already ripped us off with there cubic ft estimate , first the estimate was $941 and then they changed it to $1850, then they said they would lower it to 45cents a lb, instead of 50, then they took it to a weigh station, saying we have 3300 # thats insane, its 3 weeks and they still havent delivered it yet now they think there getting 600 more before they deliver. this is what we have 1 single bedroom set dressor and 2 nite stands one wall unit, small kitchenette table and 4 chairs and 24 boxes small desk, tv and desk chair.

they told us today jan 3 they were leaving, now there saying there leaving a few days last week it was they were leaving on the 31 of dec. we are so sick over this, what can we do, they are actually holding our stuff hostage, i have called them and threatened them with attys but they dont care, so it looks like they might not deliver unless we give them $600 more they have $600 already. last week javier the jerk who makes up stories as he goes along, says we have to give them the total on delivery , now it seems they are trying to get more, before the delivery. there has to be something we can do .
