United Legal Processing Department Scam- this was scary! Oakland California
I received a call this morning from an "officer Daniel White" from the United Legal Processing Department. He had a very thick accent and I had to listen to the message several times to get all the words. He said I was involved in a legal matter. He also mentioned a friend of mine's name stating he was involved, too. He said I needed to call back or would have legal action taken against me. He then called a third person at work mentioning the same above friend's name and stating the same thing on her work voicemail.
When I looked up this company online the only thing that came up was the two previous Rip-Off reports on this website. I immediately knew this was a scam. I put an alert on my credit report. Thanks for your help!

Obviously, ha already had your phone number so it's not like you could hide that. Why not call him back, get the information he wants to tell you and as much as possible, and call the police and file a report? I'm not saying go along with anything he has to say, just get the information you need to put him behind bars.
