Complaint Review: United Marketing Association

So this lil bogus company going by the name of United marketing Association calls me to tell me that I am being entered in some sort of contest where I can win $50,000 cash, a BMW or Trips to Europe and Australia Off the bat I knew it sounded fishy. Who the hell gives away that sort of prize? Additionally, his voice was just one of a youngster which made even less credible.

Either way, while he was asking me the gayest survey questions like where I work, what are my hobbies and what credit card works the best for me. I told him where I work, for the Federal Government and he kept yapping away. While his annoying yap was taking place, I was on Google searching for any info on these crooks. Then when he got the diamond watch part. It kinda just got amusing. Lol By then I had found Ripoffreport.com and found similar bogus stories. Thank God!!! =) By this time he was talking about the magazines and I knew 100% that this was a scam. Either way, there is no way in hell I would've given my credit card number over the phone. I asked him if he knew Josh Lindal a name, which I found on the report on RipoffReport.com and he said that he probably worked at the Nevada office because he worked out of Canada. I said you know what well I found this on RipOffReport.com and your company is listed as bogus. And like I said earlier, I work for the United States Federal Government and I can report your company. I said disregard everything I just said and your lucky I don't report you guys. He never got to ask me for my Credit Card info. He was the one that hung up on me. I think he got scared!

Either way, for all of you guys. If it sounds too good to be true, IT PROBABLY IS!!! NEVER EVER GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER no matter how good the deal sounds!
