I was checking my account on line 2 days after my previous & was horrified to find an unauthorized withdrawal causing me to have an overdraft fee of $38.00. I am handicapped physically & live in a nursing home. Social Security allows me to keep $40.00 per month from my check, the rest going to medical costs along with Medicaid/Medicare. I only put money in this account (from my family) if I have to pay a bill hence the reason for the account being overdrawn for an $11.99 fraudulent charge.

I contacted the UMG company first thing Monday a.m. & told them to reverse the charge & that they had not been authorized to charge to my account & also told them they were responsible for an overdraft fee.I was told they couldn't do anything about that - "it was for the bank to take care of"!

The $11.99 was credited within a couple of days but now I am following up with documentation from my bank (who says it's UMG's responsibility to refund the overdraft)& contact from my lawyer (a friend, thank God.)
Thankfully I have found your website & now have more ammunition to pursue them with. $38.00 is not much to some but when you have a $40.00 monthly stipend I'll be damned if they are going to get away with it.
