Complaint Review: United Personal Loans

United Personal Loans John Miller, I was looking for a personal loan for dental work on the internet, received a call from a person identifying himself as John Miller (heavy accent either middle eastern or indian)first flag, telling me that I had been approved for a personal loan. I was not trying to get a large amount, enough to have some extractions done and dentures. I have a low credit score and was told that in order to get the loan I would have to prove that I have $150.00 in my possession (flag #2) but I was ignoring these red flags because I really needed to get money for my dental work. After purchasing a prepaid green dot card and depositing the $150 on the card and giving this John Miller person the number on the card he then told me that he would call me back in 45 minutes, which he did but changed his story regarding my approval. He said that I needed $500 more  The long short of the story is I was taken for $150, told that I forfetted my money because I would not buy additional prepaid cards loaded with money. My warning to everyone is to not fall for the lies and do not ever give money in order to receive a loan. These low life people are still calling me as I am typing this from a different number. Beware/ San Antonio area code Texas

Looking for a personal loan, received a call from a representative from United Personal Loans saying that I had been approved for a loan for $3000 to $30000. if I had just stopped and given this information more thought I would have not fallen for the lies. was told because I have a poor credit score I would have to prove that I have $150 cash in my possession by purchasing a green dot prepaid card, which I did and then gave the number from the card showing that it had been loaded with the money, then told I would be called back in 45 minutes. When he called back he says that the company cannot approve the loan because of my low credit score, now remind you he was already aware of my credit score and he had told me that I had been approved for the loan initially. He wanted me to buy another card to be loaded with $500, then $150 to which I told him that I did not have any more money. He ten told me that the loan could not be approved, my money was forfetted because I would not buy another card to load with more money. Do not spend money to get a loan, it is a scam.
