You will receive an e-mail telling you that you've been approved for a credit card with a $10,000 credit limit! All you need to do is send them $149.00 activation fee, and they'll respond with an e-mail on how to activate your account.

They represent an online marketing group, that will sell you merchandise using the credit you've establishd with them, they'll even give you a free cellphone after six months, and increase your credit limit by $2,500!

But...

The card is only good for the merchandise that they offer, and you cannot see what merchandise they sell without sending in the $149 first. And, since the credit terms are so liberal, some merchandise requires a down payment! What, and how much, isn't divulged until you are a member, which requires the $149 activation fee be paid.

Caveat emptor!

I called the business who made the withdrawal and they say that they have nothing to do with the company. I tried to call United Platinum but I could not get ahold of anyone and that was on May 15th. Someone called and left a wrong number so I could not call back. Now I call and someone says that they have taken over for United Platinum but they cannot refund my money so I am just out $149.95, I don't know if it is the same company but I do not care, all I want is a refund of my money.
