I received a call from the UPS - They claimed to be Universal Process Servers on the phone for me. A friend called and they claimed to be Nation Process Servers and today I called and got a VM calling themselves United Process Servers - So they can't get their name straight. Also, it is definitely a scam. I asked for a validation notification and they told me I already had a legal case against me. They then during the conversation told me that if they didn't get paid that within the hour my county law enforcement would be here to get me which I found comical because my state doesn't have a county government branch. I told the guy to have them come and if they called me I would go wait for them.

That was after he advised me that the debtor had a lawyer and when I asked who the lawyer was he told me that the lawyer wished to remain anonymous. The best part was when I offered to write them a check (I had no intention of really doing it, I just wanted to keep them on the phone and get as much info as I could). The guy said you can't pay by check, you have to pay with a green dot prepaid card. Anyway, I called the guy out then I called the number back and got a recording that the MAGIC JACK customer I had reached was unavailable and to leave a message and then went to another voicemail which said it was MAGIC JACK again. I found the whole thing comical.

Once they knew they were caught they stopped calling and the number goes straight to voicemail. Be aware that lawyers don't remain anonymous. If it is a real debt collector they are required to give you a validation notice if you request one and the cops will not come and pick you up over a debt. Maybe if you stole something but not if you just owe someone money. That is also why collection agencies won't threaten you with arrest as it is actually against the law for them to do so. Please, if you get a call from these jokers DO NOT give them any money or personal information all though they seem to have some when they call you (not sure where they are obtaining it from) it as a TOTAL SCAM!!! I actually recorded everything and gave a copy to the real authorities and they said it was a scam. I can only imagine the number of people these people have probably ripped off. How sad.

So tried to call and get these clowns on video so that we could put it out there and people could see how the scam worked. For 2 days nobody answered the phone and it went straight to a voice mail. Today we called and wouldn't you know it, the number has been disconnected. I am sure they just changed the number so beware if you get a call. Also if you get a call from these clowns you may want to post something on this website so that this way you are protecting others from being scammed by them as well.

Thank You
