I have encountered the same situation as others from this company. Steven Lloyd called me and said he was working for a company that I do owe debt to. So I thought it was legit. He scared me into tears. I had never been sued before. He transfered me to Kimberly Jones, quess he couldn't take me crying. She told me I had until 12:00 to pay $500.00 or i would be arrested, so I did what she told me to do. Because I paid them I lost my apartment. That money was for my rent. I also googled them and found this site. I have called and left a message with the company that I owe money to and asked them if they did send me to collections and if this was the company they were using. So how do I/we go about getting our money back?

Call the state attorneys office and see what they need from you to prosecute these folks for violation of the fair credit reporting act. They cannot threaten to sue unless they have already written up the court papers. They also cannot threaten to have you arrested for being in debt. If you wrote them a bad check they can have you arrested for that though.
