United Publishers of Amercia is a telemarketing scam. First they call and say you won all this stuff. Then another person calls and says you need to buy 2 magazine subscriptions and they need account info to send. By the end of the conversation, they want to charge you for four years of subscriptions.

The next call when I said I wasn't interested they had a man call and harass me on the phone saying I needed to pay my bill. When I would try to say I cancel my order and no goods or services have been traded, they will not take no for an answer. This man kept calling for hours and harassing me. I told him I never signed anything and am no longer interested, however, they say they have taped my conversation of me saying yes. When I tell them I changed my mind, the man kept saying this is America and you need to pay your bill.

I may have to close my checking account and reopen another one to ward of the attacks by this company.

When they call you think it is this big company, but really it is just 5 people.

Are there any class action lawsuits against this company that I can join in on?
