United Reliable Auto Cariers its company head Mike Wallberg & broker Thomas James are unethical, liars, thieves & cheats.  The contract you sign for services rendered is not honored nor does disclose actual charges the consumer will pay.  Their website misrepresents the truth an propetuates lies such as 5 star ratings.  Search BBB and you will find an F rating.  Search Safer Web again full of complaints.  Search Transport reviews you will see they have a 1 star rating.

I signed a contract to have my vehicle transported from Arkansas to Massachusetts.  The signed contract was for $625.oo, which also required a deposit of $200.00.  Upon delivery, instead of receiving a bill for the balance of $425.00 I am presented with a bill for $799.00.  This is an additional $374.oo more than the signed contract stated.

After contacting them and expressing the problem.  Mike Wallberg refused to admit fault or to honor the contract signed.  Throughout our conversation, he denied responsibility, refused to rectify the problem, to offer any recompense & blamed the carrier.

DO NOT USE this Broker / so called Carrier firm.  You will regret it.

Absolute Ripoff - Mike Wallberg - United Trucking

#2Consumer Comment

Thu, June 05, 2014

This is not a rebuttal.  It is supporting the ripoff claim against Mike Wallberg and United Trucking.  Mike Wallberg is a thief, dishonest, and should not be trusted.  Mike Wallberg lied to me, mislead me, and stole $200 from me.  He sent me a quote that did not include, mention, or itemize the broker fee in the price quoted for the transporting of my car.

While on the phone with him, I asked him is the quote was all I had to pay and he said yes.  I re-worded the question to ask if the amount (stated the amount) was all that was due and he said yes.  I then re-worded it again and asked if the broker fee was included in the (stated amount) and he said yes.

When the car arrived and I had to pay $200 more than quoted, I knew he lied, cheated, and stole from me.  I didn't have the money.  I took the money out of my grocery money and consequently my wife and 2 children (still at home) couldn't eat properly for the next week and a half (the amount taken out of our food budget).

I called and fought with Mike Wallberg with United and he knew he was wrong, so to stop a furthering of conflict, he promised me $100 in gas cards to "meet me halfway".  He said that he had to wait for the transporters report to be submitted before he could submit it to corporate (usually 5 business days).

I waiting a few days longer and called him.  He said that it was still at corporate and could take up to 10  business days.  I waited over 30 days and then called him back.  He said it was at corporate and that it could take up to 30 days to process.  I reminded him that he said 10 days.  He denied it and said to try back in a week.

I waited a month and didn't hear from him.  I called him back and he said it was still at corporate.  It was May.  My car was shipped during the 2nd week of January.  I told him that I knew that he was stringing me along and that he never intended to "meet me halfway".  I told him that I figured that I had no legal recourse due to "buyer beware".  Hopefully some governmental agency will catch on and he will get what is coming to him.

He stole $200 from easily.  I can't imagine how many people he has done this to this year alone.  Just think, if he does that to 100 people this year, he will pad his salary by $20,000.  That's half of what I make for the entire year.  He is hurting people who are coming to him for help.  That is the worst kind of Criminal.  One who preys on the weaker and more unfortunate people.

Mike Wallberg, if you read this, remember me?  No?  Your mother must be proud of the thief she raised?  Remember me now?
