I was looking for a moving company on the internet. I went to an internet site that was suppose to find the best carriers for you money. I do not remember the site I went to at this time since I received so many replies to my inquiry.

United Relocation Vanlines Inc contacted me and wanted to move my goods for me. I went thru everything I owned with them over the phone and they gave me a pricwe that I thought was very fair. I set up the move for Tuesday August 4th. This was a month away when i set up the moving date.

They called me on the Monday before they were going to arrive and confirmed that they would be there between 1500 and 1700. I said that was a little late to get started but please send them. On that Tuesday at approx. 1300 I received a phone call from them that they were going to be late that they were cleaning out the trucks and would be at my house between 1700 and 2100 and they would work all night to get the trucks loaded. Well 2100 came and no truck. I waited till 0200 calling every half an hour with no response.

I finally fell asleep and woke up to my phone ringing at 0930. They called me and said that their trucks broke down and asked can they come on Sunday? I asked them are they serious? She became very rude to me on the phone. I told her to refund my deposit and they hung up and I haven't been able to get in contact with them since. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge but that wasn't the issue. I was put behind on my move and had to pack and load 2 U-Hauls in two days and drive from New York to Florida.

Please don't let this happen to you. They are not nice people and when I looked the company address up on Google maps it shows an Auto Parts store and a neighborhood. There is no moving company anywhere on the street. Learn from my mistake find a solid company to move your house and have them come out to your house to survey your items. If you call this company you will be writing a letter just like this one instead of starting your life at your new home.
