United Response Services attempted to withdraw $279 from a nonexisting account with my name, wrong address on it. But the very sharp ladies at the bank caught it first. Champlain New York
We were alerted by our bank this morning that United Response Services was attempting to withdraw $279 from an account that did not have a matching number to our actual accounts. The address on the fake check was also not accurate. At least two ladies who work at the bank caught it, mostly because the account numbers didn't match. We were lucky that they did not attempt it on our existing accounts, but what would stop them from not trying it? We see that it has already actually happened with a lot of other people. Please help stop them before they do any more damage!
