Complaint Review: United Air Comfort

ATTENTION ALL UNITED AIR COMFORT EMPLOYEES AND FORMER EMPLOYEES:

This message is for anyone who has worked or is planning on working for United Air Comfort..........DON'T!

This company advertises that it will pay employees 700 to 1000 dollars a week. You can make that much and more, if you throw your morals and your conscience out the window, and rip off the customers by selling them services that they do not need.

I do want to congratulate the employees at the Portland, Oregon branch, for finally standing up for themselves, their fellow workers, and the consumers, by banding together in an attempt to ORGANIZE. With the help of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #16 they will be successful.

Through contact with the labor community several employees learned that they were grossly underpaid for the years 1999-2002, several making less then minimum wage. Local 16 has acquired the services of an attorney to look into this matter and pursue a wage complaint on behalf of United's employees.
