May of 2006 contracted with Bob Leitenberger of United Roofing/United Exteriors/United Builders for an addition and new kitchen

Start date was Aug 1, 2006 finish date of Aug 15, 2006. Lots of delays, they tried to blame the twp for holding up the permit. However twp had their ducks in a row and all telephone attempts to contact United were documented.

Listen to Bob's excuses and final complition date was 1/20/07 --no show no work and no money returned. Hired lawyer and am now persuing legal action.

Also filed with BBB but same story as other consumers, found them to be apparently on the side of the business. The business had 30 days to reply to my complaint and when he did I was sent a letter that I only had 10 days to respond or they would mark file appropriately. I responded to them that it was not satisfied but they have not responded to me.

They did ask for a donation though

Get him at his home address

WHY DON'T you get in contact with him at his home address, 119 Lacosta Drive, Blackwood, New Jersey 08012. While he rips you off, he is living large at his home on the golf course.

Don't use BBB!!

Hey Frank! You are going the wrong route when you deal with the BBB. I hear they don't do anything for you. There are the Dept of Consumer Protection in the county and state that you should contact. You should also look into a Small Claims (under $3000) or a Special Civil Suit ($3000-$15000). My BEST suggestion is DOCUMENTATION!!! Get copies of cancelled checks, phone records (if avail), start writing out what you remember, etc. If you contact the state Dept of Consumer Protection you will need to send them copies of what you have in order for them to start their investigation. We stopped by another house today that said she signed her contract last July for work in Sept, and they told her they were busy to call back at the end of January. They don't return her calls as well. Good Luck!!!

LET'S GET CRIMINAL LOSER SCIUBBA TOGETHER

#4Consumer Suggestion

Tue, February 06, 2007

I am sorry to hear of yet another victim of United Roofing/ United Exteriors/ United Builders, and whatever name Sciubba is using now.

He is in serious jeopardy of losing his NJ Contractor's license, and is getting more desperate, making up stories and accusations against his victims.

My suggestion is that all of us victims get together and testify at each other's cases, and take some other type of organized actions.

File Criminal, Civil complaints, along with complaints to the NJ Div. of Consumer Affairs, which comes under the Attorney Geberal's office, and also the County Div. of Consumer Protection.

Sciubba is well known to them, and there are numerous cases open on him, with new victim's coming forward every day.

Just beware, Loser Mike Sciubba will try and find out where you work, then attempt to contact your employer to make false allegations.
