Complaint Review: United Sales & Book Publishing

This is such a major rip off! I actually received this same letter last year, 2003, mailed them a check and about a month later, they returned the check saying they were no longer accepting applications. The envelope had no return address.

I received the same letter September 1, 2004 and thought, "what the heck, I'll try again". I called my bank to see if the check had gone through, it had. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt since hurricane Ivan and Jeanne had just blown through Florida and I still hadn't received the promised catalogs. Nothing!

I called the post office in North Miami Beach, Florida where this company has its box. Their number is (305)947-6454. They of course think I'm nuts. They told me to call the Postal Inspector (954)436-7200. I also called my bank and they gave me the information on the back of my check. The bank used is.
