Complaint Review: United States Administrative Services Company - Cashback America

We purchased an Avalon Pellet stove in January of 2005. We were told that if we followed all the steps we could file for a $1000 rebate in 35 months. We did all that was required at the time of puchase and at the end of the thirty-five months, and have seen no money.

We have the confirmation from the certified mail, with the name of the individual who signed for receipt of the rebate request (M. Goudreau). The phone number (407-658-8404) is disconnected. The website www.cashbackusa.com) is not found.

Near as we can tell we got screwed by another fly by night outfit. Besides not getting the rebate which is bad in itself, this company has the gall to call themselves "United States" Adminstrative Services Company! How can they possibly use this country's name in vain?

If anybody who files a ripoff report ever hears anything from this company, we hope that you will contact all others who have had this experience with this company. We would be happy with a good telephone number or person to cantact. If we ever hear anything, we will be sure to get it out to everyone who has filed also.
