I recieved and instant message from a friend who said she saw my Facebook screen name on some list in connection with a Splash Promo Face book was doing picking screen names at random to recieve a amount of money the amounts were $200,000.00-$700,000.00  I was told to contact the email address I enclosed in this report and he would give me the instructions of how to get my money. I contacted the (agent) Peter Richard who in turn would contact Fed-Ex for my money delivery. Mr. Richard told me that I would need to fill out a form for security reasons in order to recieve my money, he did not supply any form but requested that the information be put in a message form on facebook and send the information to him. Name, Address ,Phone #, how old I was and if I rented or owned my home, what I my work history was and if I wanted a check or cash? After the the intinal information was passed I had asked him to provide me with the name of the Federal Agency he worked for and a site that I could go to to see this information for myself. He would not offer any information except the United States government grant & private grant foundation, no phone number or a web site I could visit. He just kept talking about this free money that the government gives away and that the agency from time to time goes through facebook information and selects screen names at random. Then he says that the names are entered into a drawing for recieving the grants. I have got to wonder how he got my screen name in the first place? Once he had the information he asked me to hold on while he waited for the information to arrive. Then after about 20 minutes he says when do you want delivery of your money as he said he had to notify Fed-Ex to deliver it and as a result of them bringing the money and the transfer fees I would have to pay $1000. up front before I could recieve my money. I told him I was not paying anyone for free money and to remove my information and not to contact me again. I can't believe I was so stupid as to give him the information I did,I felt it was wrong from the beginning "you know that too good to be true feeling" He would never devulge any information about the office he was with only that he was a Federal Agent. I hope this can be stopped before some innocent trusting person gets taken to the cleaners.
