I signed up with United States Merchant Services via Joseph Wilk
December 17 2010 for 1 credit card machine leased from 1st American Leasing. Do not believe anything this guy says. He is the ultimate salesman and scam artist.
The short story is I am stuck paying $5000 over 48 months for a processing machine worth about $600. And they don't warranty it. I was promised a lot and trusted him and got screwed.
1st American Leasing must be in cahoots. Shortly after I signed they sent a form letter stating please remember that any verbal promises of the vendor or its agents are not part of this agreement, also the last line states 1st american Leasing will assume that your silence in response to this letter is your acknowledgment and acceptance of this agreement. It should have said this on the document / lease agreement that I signed not after the fact.
Who reads form letters? I do now.
It seems that 1st American Leasing sends Joseph Wilk a check for $3000 for everyone he signs up. They will do nothing for me. The both should be jailed for using American in there names.

Joseph Wilk must slither his way up and down NJ. He makes his living off the backs of good,honest, hard working people. He continues to say how he always was honest and upfront, and that he always returned calls! He will lie to your face, on the phone and in e-mails, he is heartless and ruthless. I don't feel sorry for him and I Pray for Karma day and night. My biggest pet peeve is liars and someone of this caliper really makes me wonder how he was raised. Also he "merged" US Merchants or whatever the last six names were, with his new company Power Payment Systems with Northern Leasing Systems- Edgewater NJ, Hamilton NJ, Cliffside Park NJ, Fort Lee NJ. He will not return the BBB calls and I am sure by now has a new phone number and e-mail. All the business addresses listed are apartment buildings. Every company he is associated with is just as bad so avoid them too. If he calls your company hang up! If he shows up lock the door! He will take you for every penny he can! Stay away he cost us thousands of dollars on garbage equipment that is useless. He leaves without giving a copy of the lease too, just so you can't back out! Now the company that has the lease has forged signitures and revised dates and lease terms, go figure another scam. They all operate independent, but work together.
