United States Postal Service - USPS complaint giving personal information, ripoff Mount Vernon Kentucky
yes i made a purchase off the inernet and the gave my po box too deliver too and the driver of the company fedex would not deliver too a po box instead they went too the post office requesting my physical address and the post office gave them the wrong address. this is personal information. why were they aloud too give my physical address too them. just aint right. heck if they can go in the post office and ask my address why not just leave the package there instead.
now thanks too the post office i never did recieve my package and i was charged for it. this was done on 9/16/05 and i still have not been refunded my money due too the post office neglect.

First of all David's response was one of the most painful things I've ever read on the internet. But then I saw KY and realized that can be overlooked.
Second, Matthew has a history on Ripoffreport of complaining about various delivery services (i.e. USPS, DHL, etc) so take this thread with a grain of salt and move on!

Matthew,
So you oder some ox, had it ship to a po and fedx would not do it. Bad luck at lest you did not get arrested like most of them have in EKY doing the same thing.

Your beef isn't with the Post Office

It's with Fed Ex and the Company you purchased the item from.
FedEx should have told the sender of the package that they do not deliver to PO boxes before the package was shipped. If the item was dropped into a FedEx bin with an account number and pre-printed form, then the person that sent you the package is an idiot and should be held responsible.
Also, I find it very hard to believe that the Post Office released your address. Maybe the FedEx driver is making it up?

It's pretty common knowledge that Fedex will not, and in fact, cannot deliver to a post office box.
I think it is to the Fedex driver's credit that he even attempted to locate your actual address to deliver.
Unfortunately he didn't get it right, but you share some fault here for not verifying the delivery options when you ordered.
Have you contacted the seller and reported a non-delivery? The package may have been returned to them.
