After fleecing consumers for $100,000 per week since at least January 2007, Donna Loher has decided to deactivate United Vacation Network (UVN). Now UVN can get back the letter of credit or bond required by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This action was filed on August 9, 2007, with an effective date of October 13, 2007.

To continue her fraudulent business, Ms. Loher will have to come up whth a new corporation. With her connections with Gift Redemption Center, Suncoast Travel Network, Suncoast Vacations and Suncoast Incentives LLC, this should not be too difficult. The new corporation could have any name and any front man such as what she uses for Suncoast Incentives. The scam is too good to give up.

It seems that all of our complaints to the Federal Trade Commission, the Florida Attorney General and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services were in vain. However, the people's complaints to The Better Business Bureau and Carnival Cruise Lines have been acknowledged. My last postcard teaser from Gift Redemption Center no longer has a Carnival Logo. The Better Business Bureau has now listed UVN and Gift Redemption Center with an unsatistacytor record. Isn't it strange that Carnival and the Better Business Bureau acknowledged the complaints while Federal and State Agencies blew us off?

Although ithis voluntary deactivation will not shock those Governement offices that are supposed to protect consumers from fraud, I am willing to bet it will shock United Vacation Network's "15,000 happy and statisfied customers"!
