I do not know if United Vacation Network has found a loop-hole in "Florida Sellers of Travel Act". In one of their rebuttals, Christy says that United Vacation Network did not fall under the statutes relating to certificate of travel sellers. I assume she was refurring to "vacation certificates". Another thing I have noticed is that they also use Suncoast Travel Network on their purchase agreements. I have been unable to find out if this is a properly registered business.

I have also found out that other web sites are trying to keep rip-off reports from being seen. Where else does a consumer have to air his complaint?

I am offering the following:

1. If you feel that you have been injured by UVN, you are able to file a complaint with the Florida Attorneys General's Office. They will not act on an individual's complaint, but with enough complaints they may investigate.

2. File a complaint with the FTC. Here again they will not investigate an individual complaint.

3. File a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. DOACS regulates this type of business. They also have the responsibility of enforcing the "Florida Sellers of Travel Act". I noticed that enough complaints were made against UVN in reguards to "Do Not Call" that DOACS acted to stop their attempts to sell their plan over the phone.

4. Any person who is injured by fraud or misrepresentition can file a claim against the Seller of Travel's bond, letter of credit, or certificate of deposit. These funds are required and controlled by DOACS. This can only be done within 120 days of accurrence or discovery of the injury.

We don't have to accept our mistakes without a fight. UVN is hoping the thought of having to go to court will preclude us from any action. I feel that they take advantage of the state bureauracy in that no one looks closely at their actions.

Disreguard my complaint. I was naive to think that the State Of Florida would protect its tax payers from fraud. Our only option is to go to court.

Any and all complaints that are filed against us are responded to and addresses; we never look the other way in the event one of our members is displeased. Consumers should be aware as web-site based sites are not valid consumer regulating authorities and a majority of the complaints filed against businesses are false, misleading, and duplicated several times by the same individuals.
