United Vacation Network ripoff Stole my mother's money they are a Scam Refused to give back her money Clearwater Florida
My mother is a sweet 68 year old lady who made her way over hear from Cuba on a boat with 23 others, only 16 made it here alive. She worked all her life to help raise me my 4 other brothers and 2 sisters. My father who has also worked hard his whole life started a company and did well until his death in 1993. United Vacation Network, had my mother come out to attend a presentation to recieve a free gift and a slick salesman talked her out of $5,000. She is a widow and while my father left a nice estate for her, she was taken advantage of by these people promising her all these gifts that we have been unable to recieve. This company upon contacting them and asking for a refund refused and this was within the 72 hour right or recision, that is required to make any contract law. Now we contacted the credit card company who is getting us back our money that my mother worked so hard to get, but the fact the company refused to give us a refund and stated "too bad." to me when I am trying to be nice. My name is Antonio and I am down for whatever, but my family. I can't believe they would take advantage of a widow like that? I cannot believe they would not give back my mother's money. Please if you have joined this company please request your money back, and pursue it through your credit card company, to insure you are not ripped off by these fast talking con men who entrapped my mother in Sarasota. I know they are working the state of Florida and I would Like EVERYONE in the STATE to know.. They are a fraud.. You can get the same thing on Travelocity...

This complaint is lodged by this persons child, not even the real member. He doesnt even talk about anything wrong with the membership, just how great his parents are. He says you can go on Travelocity and get the same pricing but that is not true, i've saved on hotels and a TON OF MONEY on my cruises.

There is a Small Claim suit for $5000 on Feb 23, 2007 in St Petersburg. UVN members that have been ripped-off can search the Court records as explained below and get in touch with the plaintif and appear in person as witnesses or provide an affidavit (sworn written statement at a Public Notary). All must make their declarations no later than Monday Feb 12, 2007 in order to be admissable for the trial.
Search for: Pinellas County Florida Small Claims sign in as a guest, look up Civil/Small Claims, enter United Vacation Network, you should see 3 cases pending, the one in Feb 23 is the one looking for witnesses (affidavits). Once you have my full name (you already know the town & state) the white pages should get my phone number. Can't figure out how to search for any more information to help us communicate.
