Complaint Review: United Voice Mail

Fraudulent billing by United Mail Service(UMS). UMS has been billing us for service never used. UMS says our daughter ordered the service on the internet and because she receives mail at our address, they were able to bill us due to them being an unregulated service. Verizon says we have been "Crammed" and will bill United Mail Service for all charges and removed the amount off our phone bill.

United Mail Service has a billing service in Florida but a postal address in Massachusetts. They were going to refund us two months of charges when we complained that our child has no authority to charge anything to our phone service. When we told them our phone company Verizon said we were Crammed and they were going to bill UMS, UMS said they could give us nothing.
We are reporting this practice to the Attorney Generals in Florida, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
