i donated 7000.00 through wasntenaw county united way to build a school for our black children. the monet went to huron valley christian academy. they decided that they was not going to build after taking our contributions through work. i worked for ford motor co. 30 yrs. i made calls to the treasure of the huron valley ministers alliance, and he never returned my calls,ii called the president and was told that they was not giving the money back. only to the gold members that contributed a thousand dollars.i allocated that the max be taking out of my check to go to help build that school. if they decided not to build, then they should have given us our money back also. where did all that money go. a lot of people was upset by it. they are afarid to say anything. i am retired and i would like my money back and so would a lot of other people.
