Our company has been in business for 33 years and pays all of its bills on time. This company is charging late fees for payments that are not late. One of my recent bills was paid on the 13th and was not posted to my account until the 22nd. This resulted in an approximate $600 late fee on an approximate $2000 bill. I began looking back through bills from previous months and found that they had charged late fees on 3 months where I was also not late. The company appears to slowly process payments in an effort to assess and collect late fees and finance charges. Our company has perfect credit and they are charging finance charges close to 30% plus late fees. I called to complain and they offered to drop 50% of all late fees. Who does that if I was really late? We told them we were not happy with that and we wanted all late fees dropped. They said a manager would call us within 24 hours and it has now been 4 days with no calls back. We have called multiple times within the four day period and now we are being told they may not drop 50% of the fees but that the manager will make the call when he callls us back. We are sitting here waiting...... At this point in time we are dropping this company and looking for another fleet card. DO NOT USE UNIVERSAL FLEET CARD!!!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!
