Universal Premium Fleet Card It's not a credit card - it's a FEES card Internet

Why hasn’t a class action law suit been filed against this company?  So many of the complaints are the similar.

First, you are forced to receive invoices through their online system or else they charge a fee to mail your invoices.  What they don’t tell you is that they charge you $50 a quarter to access your invoices on their more advanced system. (Yes, $200 a year for the pleasure of printing their invoices on your paper.)  When that surprise fee hit our account I demanded that it be removed, which they finally did.

Then they tell you that you have to use their primitive system to get your invoices.  It’s like a 1980s version of R-Base.  You have to perform all kinds of queries to eventually get to your invoices.  By the time I figured out how to get to my invoice it was due that day.  I knew I couldn’t get a payment to them on time through my bank so I called their customer service and asked if I used their payment system would that payment be posted today to avoid the $75 late fee.  I was told that it would be posted today and there would be no late fee on our account.

One month later they DID charge the $75 fee plus interest on the fee.  I called and asked them to reverse that fee because I was told that our payment would be posted that day.  She said “I can’t reverse the fee.”  I said “No, it’s not that you CAN’T reverse the fee, you just don’t WANT to reverse it.”  I told her to reverse the fee or I would close our account, so she closed the account.  They don’t care.

Folks, this company IS NOT in the credit card business.  They are in the FEES business.  Just scroll through the Ripoff reports. (BTW the Ripoff reports are under “Fleet Card” and “Fleetcard” so there are twice as many complaints as you think.)

I have been with Uniersal Premium Fleet card for quite some time now, and always used the web to lookup details about my transactions.

I used their service to primarly look for foul play from my employees in reference to the gas cards.

I NEVER SUSPECTED THAT I NEEDED TO LOOK AT THE FLEET CARD COMPANY FOR FOUL PLAY!

My stupid, I never balanced out one of their bills to see that I was getting charged for the reporting!  I was told by their sales rep that there was NO charge for their services.  I just went online and asked a salesrep via the chat window and was told that there are no fees again.  I specifically asked her if there was a reporting fee and was told NO.

If this the kind of company that they are, I dont think anyone should do business with them!
