My story this time doesn't begin when I refused to fill in and interview to possibly get  that position in a place that was too far for me and couldn't possibly go to because of my mother and uncle  who became violently ill after the death of my cousin during the last job I did for them. No, my story begins when the State of California sends me a letter asking me to give a phone interview with some clown named "Cleo", who spoke in a phony sounding accent. "Cleo" then states that the unemployment agency overpaid the time I was not employed by Universal Protection Services and that my claim was denied because I had refused to accept a job. What job? I was supposed to replace some guy that the manager Kendall Tidewell didn't want there and then interview with the client afterward. There was no guarantee I would get relieved on time to do this. I believed that I worked for Universal Protection Services NOT their client; if I was to interview with the client, should I apply for a job there with them first? So I took them to the State Appeals board and argued my case. The judge ruled that I didn't get to pay additional charges against me and that I didn't accept a leave of absence. Wait, it gets better! Kendall Tidewell and Universal Pro (as they call themselves) claimed I refused the job on March 22, 2010 and that I never called back. Excuse me since when does an employee call to see it he has a job; so David Beckham can call the L.A. Galaxy to see if can play that day or do the police call to see if there are crimes today? When a company has an employee, the company calls the employee to go to work regardless or tell him there isn't a place for him. But then a revelation, my resignation letter which I was forced to sign in front of receptionist, Natalie, so I can get my $300 uniform deposit back was dated April 20, 2010! Kendall Tidewell comes out with a termination notice by the company which he authorized as, get this, this is the funny part, APRIL 14, 2010! How can a man quit after he was fired! Plus that day on Career Builder, Universal Pro sent me an e-mail that they had received my application and that a representative would call me as soon as a job for someone with my qualifications would arrive! What non-sense! The State of California should stop sleeping with Universal Pro and get a better girlfriend!
