Complaint Review: Universal Subscription Agency

Young man, not in college, appeared desperate for money or his "trip to Cancun". Even though through the process of the scam I was obviously skeptical he kept his chin up. HIs name is "Pat G".

Pat G. really wants to go to Cancun. Whether he goes there or not I hope others do not make the same mistake.

If you do buy magazines...keep the receipts. Cancel your check and send in the refund order form, which is on the back of the reciept. Not only that perhaps photocopy it all. Call the company as well. Even though I have called during "non" business hours from what it sounds like I may never get a human. Nevertheless cancel your check.

I dont know if I am going to be charged for the magazines & cancelled check fee of $30. as described on the reciept. I have a feeling these things are there to push ppl into paying cash.

After I gave him the check he was in a hurry to get going. Perhaps becaues of all the skeptism. I was scammed and am ashamed of it but hopefully its over and I wont have to pay anymore for this mistake.
