On 8/15/2006 I bought a Nordictrac C2150 treadmill from Sears along with the service contract that was to be for 5 years for $300. The contract was with UTS (Universal Technical Services) the receipt from Sears shows the contract to be for the treadmill, but when soneone at UTS wrote up their contract they wrote it up for an Icon Health Health and Fitness, Nordic Trac Excersize Bike. ON 11/25/2009 I called UTS to have my treadmill checked and they sent out a techition out who performed a service check on the unit. In July 2011, I called to have my treadmill checked as I knew my contract was to expire on 8/15/2011. On 7/20/11 a UTS serviceman came out and when he went to move the treadmill he broke the left rail on it. He told me he would order the part and when it got to my house he would come back and install it. I never got the part in. I called the company (UTS) on 8/22/2011 and was told that they showed me owning an excercize bike and never owning a treadmill and my contract expired on 8/15/2011 there was nothing they could do. I tried to talk to a manager that day and the next day and was told there was nothing that could be done. I feel they took my $300 as they are the ones that wrote the contract up wrong, as my receipt from Sears shows it clearly to be a treadmill. Then they refuse to replace the part of the treadmill that their repairmen broke.
