Universal Techs Company failed to repair heater correctly & now has lethal levels of carbon monoxide coming out ripoff Highland California
In November of 2003 a drunk driver plowed through a wall at my condo shutting down gas service for 3 weeks. Gas company red tagged my heater saying it needed to be repaired prior to any usage. Universal Techs came out in December of 2003, repaired heater for $276 and we used heater for next 3 months.
In September of 2004, I sold condo and new owner had gas company do free inspection. Upon review, gas company said heater was never correctly repaired and was putting out lethal doses of carbon monoxide which means we were being posioned during those 3 months.
Universal Techs now claims to have no knowledge of the red tag, said I did not disclose that fact and would never have done repair. They also now refuse to return any calls and have already been listed by Better Business Bureau has being price gougers and having a history of poor repairs.
