I am really happy that I found this site before I started any classes at the University of Phoenix. I should have been a little apprehensive with the thought of finishing, attending once a week.

Everyone has a right to complain on this site... that is what it's for. In fact I am thankful that people take the time to write their experiences down...you are making a difference because I was ready to start school on the 26th of this month and now I am not.

The people at the college seem unprofessional and my counselor lied to me about the major I chose. I was going to get a bs in human services and the catalog they hand out that explains the degree is total bs. It does not tell you a single thing about what you will use the degree for, it allows the counselor to make up what you want to hear!! I feel like this univeristy is more like a used car lot and their classes just may be comparable to lemons.

Accerlated MBA

My mother got an accerated MBA from the University of Phoenix and it is a true degree. She only went once a week to class for about 3 hours a class. But it really does work. Just make sure your classes are for your BS and go for it. (She even once had to take an online class, and it was nothing like I thought online classes would be. It was amazing and very professional. Also the projects and tests were nothing you could just get from the book, although online she had to work harder in this class, than in her other in school classes.)

I'm looking into it to finish my degree. (BTW all counselors will try and tell you what you want to hear no matter what college to get you to go there.)

Also, (sorry if this is getting long.) My father got his Masters in Theology going one night a week also. It was from Ashland Theological Seminary. They ran a once a day class out of Cleveland University.

So I know yes, you can get your degree only going one day per week. I hope this helps you.

Good luck.
