Complaint Review: university of phoenix

 I took a leave of absence , while on the leave of absence they contacted me to say that when it was over I would be enrolled into classes. After my leave of absence was over I enrolled back into the classes. Three days later they call back to say that my pell grant and or loan never came through. They took me out of the classes and put me into another leave of absence until nov. this was sept. Prior to this my financial advisor stated that the money would not be there in time but i could go ahead and attend. During the leave they enrolled me back into classes and never contacted me . 14 days goes by and I am then contacted to say that because I did not attend I would be asked to withdrawl from the school. I asked why this was happening they said because I did not attend the classes. I stated I did not know I was suppose to that no one ever contacted me about this.

They told me it would be sent to collections. I asked what could I do to stop this. they said someone would contact me. A chad willis contacted me told me I had  a week to get it all straightned out. He stated that I had to send him some tax forms. I sent all the forms he asked for that day. He stated he would be on vacation next week. I asked where do I need to send these forms . He never contacted me back I called him  No answer, emailed no answer. I never heard back from him. then the collection calls started. I sent them an email showing that the classes they said I owed money for was paid for this was an bioligy class that I attended in april. they said that because of the attndance my prior classes would not be paid for. 

They basically told me i could attend the class not to worry the money would come for those classes made me take the leave then enrolled me into classes never contacted me I was 9 credits from getting my degree. I called them back finally got an answer in jan from a maria munous. I asked what I needed to do she told me i needed to send the forms in I showed her where I had faxed and emailed the forms she said it looks like somebody dropped the ball. she stated that she would take care of this get the collections reversed so I could get back into school and that she would call me back. In march I still had not heard from her everytime I called she was on vacation. Eventually I got tired of getting the run around and gave up. I tried to reenroll into another college and was unable to due to collections from this school.
