I started attending University of Phoenix on January 28 2008. I went on ahead and started the two classes which was com 140 and gen 105. I started the classes and when it got near the eighth week. I recieved an email from a teacher that i did not pass the class and for me to contact the academic advisor who in turn will let me know what to do and how I was going to get through what I was going through. I talked to the financial aid advisor and the academic advisor who in turn told me that their was nothing that they could do to help me stay in school. They say that one class is what will be keeping me from being a successful mother to my two children.

I am highly disappointed because of the simple fact that it does not matter what you go through and how hard you try to do the right thing. I admit that I did not always turned in assignments. I tried calling the teacher several times and then I get an email saying Ms. Richardson did you leave a message for me to return your call. I am looking at this like what?! You are an instructor and you should received my message from me. The instructor was real rude and then when I confronted her she tried to cover up her tracks and make it look like it was me and it was not me. I tried everything even talking to my enrollment counselor who told me that even if I failed the class that there was another alternative to me going to school. It was not handled and I thought that when you get financial aid that it's suppose to pay for school and that when you have to retake classes it is suppose to also pay for that class. How can someone tell me what financial aid is for? I have never been to a school where financial aid will not pay for you to continue an education that you started. I think that it is sad at how they rip you off of your education and they do not help you at all and wants to make it hard for you to continue your dreams.
