Complaint Review: University OF Phonix

University of Phonix(Axial) Is a rip off. They has me taking classes I wasn't familar with. When it came to applying for finacial Aid they told me to put down Full time student (although I was working part time) and they told me to apply for work-study programs and I was doing online classes.(which I thought was strange) The guy got me in school right away and I had no orientation to learn how to do the forums or anything. I was told by the conselor once I started school.

I took 2 classes and when school started the finacial Aid let me know I was getting and when I asked if I was getting any finacial Aid back they told me no. (I wasconcerned because I was leasing acomputer for class and I really wanted to own it  They say that you need no books or anything eeverything you need is the finacial Aid takes care of. I had to buy my school supplies but they told me the online classes were very expensive.  I then realized after doing the 2 classes I wanted to go for  Nursing. I was told  by the counselor there that it wasn't a degree program and it was "stupid of me to even consider doing this because they only make about 40,000 a year'"  I told them I enjoyed working at the hospital and they were angry with me for changingmy mind, and after they couldn' tconvince me to change my mind they wouldn't return my calls afterwards. I called the loan people and cancelled my loan, I saved myself 30,000 dollars.
