University of Toronto ripoff political corruption Toronto Ontario
To whom it may concern:
According to the Minister of Post-Secondary the University of Toronto is governed by its own acts and legislation. The Minister also states that universities are autonmous and are responsible for all academic and administrative matters.
However who is the officer of the court one is to contact when the University of Toronto breaks its own policies, procedures and the law?
The University of Toronto Ombudsperson referred this issue to the law firm of Cassels, Brock and Blackwell (U of T lawyers).
The issue concerns an Equity Officer of the University of Toronto attempted to offer a student money based on the actions of the officers' subordinate.
The offer from the Vice-Provost of Faculty; University of Toronto is not only unreasonable but also unjust.
The offer states that the above actions were in consideration.
However the offer does not take into consideration of loss of education, career possibilities, potential income and suffering as a result of this petition.
The two arguments presented to the university by the student are as follows: Abuse of authority which broke university policies, procedurs, and the law; resulted in my loss of education, career possibilities, potential income in addition to future economic loss of pain and suffering.
The second issue is this: Do the people who teach the law; influence the people who make the law; in order to be above the law?
How is it possible for a publicly funded institution which is governed by its own acts and legislation not be publicly accountable?
